HSSE ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Ensure records and reports on HSSE programs and ensure licenses and permits are current and documentation maintained; Identify HSSE training requirements; ensure information/induction sessions are carried out; Provide by nominated dates monthly and weekly HSE reports; Conduct risk management in the identification of hazards in the workplace and recommend corrective or preventive measures, including control systems to detect deviation from agreed HSE policies; Liaise with project management on the HSE aspects of plant/process design, modification, including plant lay-out, equipment and tool specifications, waste disposal and industrial hygiene, protective clothing and the storage of dangerous chemicals and other substances; Work closely with HSE Personnel with regards to injury and rehabilitation controls; Obtain and coordinate the services and cooperation of external emergency authorities as necessary; Provide advice to personnel on strategies and problem solving on HSE matters; Develop and implement Project HSE Plans, HSE Risk Assessments, JSAs and HSE procedures; Investigate accidents and incidents and coordinate corrective actions; Participate in site hazard inspections; Assist in the development of the Health, Safety and Environment systems to meet the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001; Assist with the implementation of the HSE Strategy on the project; Lead and motivate the team; Ensure subordinates are prepared adequately before commencing any task; Identify and mitigate risks associated with work; Ensure compliance with all statutory and client Safety regulations; Undertake inspections & audits; Ensure environmental plan is complied with; Incident investigation & root cause analysis of accident/incidents.

HSSE ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Provide technical advice on matters relating to industrial hygiene, safety and environmental matters and ensure safety programs comply with government regulations, standards and policies, as well as company objectives; Liaise with statutory authorities where appropriate; Ensure a process is established and maintained to stay up to date with government requirements; Ensure records and reports on HSSE programs and ensure licenses and permits are current and documentation maintained; Identify HSSE training requirements; ensure information/induction sessions are carried out; Provide by nominated dates monthly HSSE statistics report to the Husab Project Joint Venture; Conduct risk management in the identification of hazards in the workplace and recommend corrective or preventive measures, including control systems to detect deviation from agreed HSSE policies; Liaise with project management on the HSSE aspects of plant/process design, modification, including plant lay-out, equipment and tool specifications, waste disposal and industrial hygiene, protective clothing and the storage of dangerous chemicals and other substances; Provide technical advice on chemical and physical agent behaviour, impact and control as they effect the environment and health of employees and users; Work closely with HSSE Personnel with regards to injury and rehabilitation controls; Obtain and coordinate the services and cooperation of external emergency authorities as necessary; Provide advice to Husab Project Joint Venture personnel on strategies and problem solving on HSSE matters; Develop and implement Project HSSE Plans, HSSE Risk Assessments, JSAs and HSSE procedures; Investigate accidents and incidents and coordinate corrective actions; Participate in site hazard inspections; Participate in community and industry HSSE groups and programs; Ensure all subcontractors employed practice HSSE standards equal to those of the Husab Project Joint Venture; Ensure HSSE Planning is conducted for all Company Projects.
