Updates company fire & safety regulations and recommends amendments as necessary to cope with modified international code and standards. 2. Attends to emergencies / accidents and provides technical consultations, conducts investigation and follow – up on corrective actions of potential safety problems. 3. Ensure that all life saving safety equipment within the premises are to the current standards. 4. Review company projects and technical procedures to ensure compliance with safety related polices & procedures. 5. Supervise and controls assigned company personnel involved in the investigation of accidents, ensuring the application of safety code of practice in this regard and carry out the necessary analysis & recommends the necessary action to be taken in each case. 6. Ensure that accident reports & statistics meet with local & international procedures & requirements. 7. Accompanies inspectors from governmental agencies (e.g. Civil defense, Labor office and insurance companies) on surveys and audit of the plant. Review any reports of discrepancies and initiates action for their correction. 8. H.S., fire prevention / fighting and emergency manuals preparation. 9. Incident & Accident investigation / analysis. 10. Risk assessment within production operations. 11. Identification of Potential Hazards. 12. Accident investigation & cost analysis. 13. Ensure that fire detection, fighting automatic systems are up to standards including preventive maintenance. 14. Conduct fire drill for the plant.
