• Job Details: Trust Chemical Industry Sanmar ( TCI Sanmar) located at Port Said, Egypt is one of the largest integrated producers of Caustic Soda and PVC in the Middle East and North Africa regions. Together with the PVC capacity of 3,00,000 TPA available with the Sanmar Group in India, the Group commands 7,00,000 TPA of PVC capacity which place them among the 10 largest producers of PVC in the world.  Participating during the commissioning and startup of Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) unit.  Reviewing the P&ID and control strategies in view of startup and safe operation of process plant.  Verification of equipment and systems are mechanically completed and leak testing the EDC plant lines.  Prevention of hazardous conditions for persons and equipment.  Participating in the initial performance test run of the EDC plant.  Controlling and managing the plant field during the operation to insure a pure EDC product for the Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) plant.  Routinely examine equipment and lines for any defects and communicate maintenance department.
