• Job Details:➢ Manage systems for storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications. ➢ Dispense medications appropriate to community practice including prescription verification, telephone orders, proper selection, preparation, compounding, labeling, storage, packaging handling and disposal. ➢ Providing appropriate medication counselling to patients and caregivers being sensitive to cultural, socioeconomic and other factors which may impact a patients’s care. ➢ Understanding a proper blood pressure check up and glucose level test for the walk in patients. ➢ Improving communication skills through dispensing the medication and giving the information about the disease, symptoms, and medication side effects. ➢ Participating in discussions regarding the assignment of human resources management, medication resources management systems, including pharmacy workload and financial performance. ➢ Understanding the application of pharmacy laws in community pharmacy practice. ➢ Recognize management of the medication use system and apply the systems approach to the medication safety.
