• Job Details:Provide implacable support to the CFO in the formulation of strategy, annual business plans, budgets, policies and procedures for NEXUS as a whole. Lead the preparation of annual budgets and assist in review of the budgets with the management team. Perform and manage a full range of accounting responsibilities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections, and variable costs reporting and reconciliation. Key Contributions:  Exceptionally envisaged and successfully managed the cashflows of the company, especially in times of acute levels of challenges by effectively coordinating with more than 500 vendors of the Group.  Designed and developed an effective tracker on NEXUS Intranet platform to track all transactions emanating from operations and to integrate the same with financial processes of the back-office system.  Successful implementation of VAT (Value Added Tax) across the company as per VAT Implementing Regulations  Designed, implemented and prepared consolidated financial statements for the group, and established financial reporting structure.  Established and implemented strategies in collaboration with the CFO to increase revenues of the companies by doing changes in roles, strict budget variance analysis, as well as controlled the costs at the stage of approval itself by developing various tools for the management which was directly linked with the financial statements of the company.  Designed the organizational and reporting structure and uniform chart of accounts in Oracle systems implementation project until the pilot run.  Retained all accounting functions for the company including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entry, financial reporting, fixed assets, and payroll.
