• Job Details:• In the field of commercial kitchen and laundry Projects, including HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical aspects. Engineering electro-mechanical issues, equipment installations, maintenance projects for hotels , hospitals ,restaurants, etc. in the MENA Region. • Development and optimization of Technical Services & Support processes and activities.. • Cooperating with the other departments and participating in negotiations for new contracts, whenever necessary. • Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and delivering the project in deadline. • Coordinating and participating in project reviews and audits as appropriate, engineering workshop drawings, contracts. • Performing visits at potential customers and gathering enough information for inquiries and perform quick actions. • Reporting Non-Conformance work, arranging solution, ensuring completion and record. In addition liaise with the Installation and Maintenance managers to implement a long-term solution to minimize re-occurrence. • Responsible for monitoring Key Performance Indicators during the execution of individual projects and for recommending changes to processes & procedures to improve project execution efficiency. • Review tender design , client requirement , material & drawing submittals for MEP work scope • Review subcontractors’ submittals in terms of materials, shop drawings, method statements and quality plan to ensure adherence to contract specifications. • Reviewing and releasing LPOs for subcontractors. • Verify and approve subcontractors’/vendors’ invoices, and follow up for timely release of payment. • Manage Engineering team to Develop Workshop drawings, CSDs and Materiel submittals. • Prepare required plans and time schedules. • Place material requisitions as per project plan and the requirements. • Coordinating all technical aspects, specifications, build-ability and engineering cost. • Direct MEP subcontractor & suppliers to ensure works are done efficiently as per schedule time and best quality • Keep progress on schedule & manage all resources (Manpower, materials & equipment). • Direct Testing and Commissioning Plans & Method of statements developments. • Keep good relations with client, consultant and all stakeholders of the project, attend all progress & technical meetings and resolve all financial and contractual problems • Keep watching all engineers & technicians for their work discipline & progress • Accelerate installation team to achieve the company goals & also to develop their skills • Set interviews with new engineers & technicians to recruit the qualified one • Travelling to each operation country on fortnightly basis or on demand to review and meet with the clients to ensure proper operations. • Liaise with contractors, consultants, vendors to build & maintain cordial relationship thus ensuring smooth operations • Installations , commissioning, startup, training. • Handing over and final acceptance certificate • Maintaining safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures • Monitor Key Performance Indicators during the execution of individual projects. • Ability to direct design department in preparation of detailed drawings, requirements drawings (Equipment Layout, Electrical, Gas, Mechanical, Block Work …. etc.) • Assist in preparing the equipment procurement plan and review its implementation to ensure all of them available on time. • Assist the technical office in choosing the equipment and preparing the material submittal according to the tender specification. • Hold meetings with the Main contractor, subcontractors and consultant to sequence the project activities. • Monitor and control assigned staff and implement on site procedures to assist them performing their work efficiently. • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems. • Ensure monitoring on the quality of materials and workmanship install, operate and maintain. • Ensure that the subcontractor's works are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and Contract Documents. • Implement safety precautions on site and develop healthy atmosphere by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. • Preparing and submitting all documents requested for activities procedure ( MIR , IR , TQ , RFI , CVI …etc ) • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. • Close the project by finishing the entire snag list and meet the customer satisfaction.
