• Job Details:Designed 132kV GIS substation layouts and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Developed detailed cable routing, grounding, and control schematics in compliance with SEC standards. Coordinated with civil and protection teams for equipment room and panel integration. Reviewed and validated short circuit and protection coordination studies for safe operations. Conducted equipment selection and technical evaluations for GIS components including circuit breakers, disconnectors, and instrument transformers. Prepared bill of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs (MTO), and technical specifications for procurement and tendering. Ensured adherence to IEC, IEEE, and SEC standards during design and documentation phases. Supported site teams with as-built drawings, redline markups, and remote troubleshooting during installation and commissioning. Participated in FAT/SAT activities, validating panel wiring, protection relays, and interlock logic with vendors and clients. Performed interface engineering between protection, SCADA, and telecom systems to ensure seamless integration within the 132kV GIS substation. Managed design revisions and change control processes to accommodate client feedback and site constraints without impacting project timelines. Utilized ETAP and other simulation tools for load flow, grounding, and arc flash analysis to enhance system performance and safety.
