• Job Details:Introduced to the Plastic Injection technology. How the machine mechanically works, how the machine is programmed, how to produce a sufficient output. By the end of the program, a cup was designed by us and produced using the knowledge gained throughout the whole program.

Industrial Engineer - Leoni Wiring SystemsFull Time

• Job Details:Applying Lean SixSigma methodologies to a production area in Leoni named "D7A". The aim was to solve a bottleneck problem through Lean SixSigma techniques by re-balancing the assembly line. Time and Motion study was applied for the calculations of cycle times. Value Stream Map was constructed, and a waste of motion was identified and solved. The cycle-time reduced which subsequently increased the throughput of the line, as well as the efficiency and utilization of all the workstations. FlexSim Simulation software was used for validation and proposing the new solution. Minitab software was used for expert fitting the data collected from the floor.

Intern at The Arab Contractors, Central factories and Workshops.Internship

• Job Details:Four different workshops were introduced to us in four weeks. Each workshop was responsible for the manufacturing of different product. The production processes, technology used, and the quality control were introduced and taught to us by the engineer in charge.
