• Job Details:“Owest Project in the heart of the 6th of October area, O-West is set to rise as a beacon of integrated living. Envisioned as a total sensory experience, full of energy, playing differently to everyone, from shops to restaurants, sports club to common spaces. The current development masterplan shows a majority of multi-family buildings that vary in height and density. These buildings constitute a considerable number of units within the development; hence, the designs of these buildings should follow a strong sense of harmony and timelessness throughout the life cycle of the development” My assignment in O-West project as Design Manager involved: • Managing the design services outsourced to the consultants for the project within time schedule, Scope of services and contract. • Reviewing Tender set to avoid discrepancy between Drawings, BOQS and Specs, according to the code, company design standards and construability to avoid additional cost to planed cost. • Coordination with The construction team & the Engineer during the construction process including the response for the RFIs. • Managing the design services outsourced to the consultants for the project within time e schedule, Scope of services and contract to avoid any creeps regarding time, cost & Scope. • Coordinating among different consultants of the project. • coordinate with different engineering discipline activities and solving technical problem. • Ensure that Consultants adhering to Design Procedure. • Leading Change request in terms of triple constraints (Cost, Time & Scope). • Evaluating bidders technical and financial proposals • Preparing & Reviewing RFPs for design consultancy. • Reviewing & Managing different design disciplines in BIM 360. • Preparing Progress report and reviewing it against planned scope.
