• Job Details: Operating a multi-million-user website (arcor.de) with more than 60 applications.  Solving opened incident, problem, and request tickets.  Monitoring and reporting the applications status and their SLAs.  Implementing solutions for continuous performance improvement.  Improving incident, problem, change, escalation, and reporting management processes for effective business productivity between the onsite and offshore teams, following ITIL.  Mentoring the new team members on the technologies used.  Working in Devops’ company initiative, especially Docker and Kubernetes. Achievements:  Providing Devops trainings about Devops in DXC, including Introduction to Devops, Ansible and other topics.  Completed the migration of applications on 400 servers from SUSE 9/10 to SUSE 11.3 overcoming many technical challenges.  Created a new anti-spam system preventing the mail system from crashing & improving its strong reputation.  Implemented Icinga and Ansible for monitoring and configuration management respectively.

Senior IT Application Deployment EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Managed, planned, and estimated projects from the deployment side and designed testing environments as onsite technical lead. Provided consultancy for major incidents of deployment on production for Vodafone Germany. Assured excellent software delivery and documentation quality following Vodafone Germany standards. Achievements: Delivered a multi-million Euro project on tight schedule as deployment team leader. Managed the transition plan of the deployment and operations side, for the biggest project (Baltrum) in HP Egypt, from Germany to Egypt building a team of 20 members. Improved the LMS project delivery to the customer (Vodafone Germany) leading to extending the project contract for 3 years.
