• Job Details:Responsible of automation, instrumentation and electrical aspects of the plant. • Overseeing automation processes using Siemens DCS and Allen Bradley PLC using PCS7, RSLogix 5000 and Factory Talk Studio software packages. Responsible of DCS managements of change, achieved in the first year savings of +10K USD of hourly rates that were done by external contractors. • Plan and lead weekly maintenance tasks and work orders through IBM Maximo software package. Plan and lead tasks related to process safety, electrical and general plant safety. Responsible of predictive and preventive maintenance and yearly calibration calendars to ensure electrical excellence and reliability. Achieved a target downtime of <2.5% in FY2019/2020. • Plan and lead shutdown and overhauling activities to make sure up-to-date best practices are followed throughout the plant. Lead projects related to continuous improvement and process safety using six sigma, management of change and risk assessment tools. Support in different site projects during design, implementation and commissioning. • Spare parts utilization and 5S project of electrical warehouse to ensure stable operation. • Ensure safety, process safety and electrical safety policies are followed throughout the plant.

Design EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Job Description: Receive customer requests and prepare technical and commercial offers. Review wiring diagrams, codes, specifications and customer comments. Design and programming for local projects. Provide on-site support and commissioning. Specialized in generator control panels and renewable energy projects. Examples of Projects handled: 1. GUPCO (Gulf of Suez, Egypt): Program a PLC S7-1200 to communicate to an EMCP 4.2 via Modbus to read different parameters and show all data on HMI KTP1000 Basic. 2. Zohr (Natural Gas Field - Port Said, Egypt): Revise wiring diagrams of five low voltage and one medium voltage generator control panels and DC starting and control system. Panels include Siemens ET200S PLC and a Kuhse KEA generator controller, Kuhse KSY synchronizer and Stucke SYMAP protection relay. Review the different operating scenarios of synchronization, back synchronization and emergency operation. Revise I/O list and serial list. Attend testing of panels. Provide on-site support during commissioning of panels. 3. ANRPC (Alexandria, Egypt): Commission a generator control panel for a CAT genset and a Kuhse KEA controller and GE protection relay. Provide on-site support for troubleshooting. 4. Khalda (Alexandria, Egypt): Design a PLC and HMI software for monitoring and controlling a generator control panel for a CAT genset with a DSE controller and a ComAp protection relay. Communicate with EMCP 4.2 via Modbus. Attend panel building, testing and commissioning phases.

DemonstratorFull Time

• Job Details:Job Description: Prepare tutorials and labs. Review lecture material with students in small groups. Conduct laboratory experiments and assist students in their assignments and small projects. Achievements: Revamping of Industrial automation lab by supervising the following projects: communicating PLC with Micromaster 420, commissioning of Micromaster 420, communication between two PLCs, HMI programming, CFC programming language, S7-Graph language. Future projects include S7-HIGRAPH and PCS7. Creating special machines courses lab by preparing a new lab booklet and preparing experiments of unbalanced three phase induction motor and stand-alone induction generator.
