-Auditing of all EMRO imprest returns to ensure adherence to the rules and regulations
-Regular follow up with World Health Country offices regarding reconciliation issues
-Prepare monthly replenishment to ensure all field operations run smoothly
-Provide training to both regional office and country offices staff in various financial matters.
-Ensure that Specific measures that address particular risks as well as internal control measures are put in place
-Review Regional Standard operating procedures to ensure that it is aligned with WHO approved Procedures.
-Regular revision /update of the panel of signatories for all country offices to ensure proper segregation of duties exist on all imprest accounts
-Generate DFC &DI; DFC reports to all Business centers in order to ensure timely receipt of the reports.
-Liaise with Headquarters in preparation of Financial Statements at Year End.
-Selected as regional financial focal point for all Polio activities which are consider the most important health activities performed in the Region with annual Budget more than $ 400MM.
