• Job Details:● Preparing/ submit all applicable QC procedures to Client/ Third party for review/approval as per project requirements for MEP (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing) Welding and Piping fields... ● Review of applicable contractual requirements (Technical standards, specifications etc.) ● Inspect Technical and Dimensional Accuracy: Regularly check construction works for adherence to predefined standards. ● Compare Work to Approved Drawings: Ensure on-groundwork aligns with the approved designs and specifications. ● Oversee Material Quality: Supervise and inspect materials for compliance with set standards. ● Conduct Formal Site Inspections: Perform regular site inspections based on the inspection & test plan. ● Provide On-Site Technical Support: Offer immediate technical solutions and advice during construction phases. ● Prepare Site Reports: Document quality checks, deviations, and maintain records of inspections and tests. ● Attend Project Meetings: Provide updates, insights, and feedback on quality aspects in project meetings. ● Monitor Non-Conformance Reports: Track and ensure timely resolution of all non-conformance issues. ● Familiar with ISO9001 quality assurance principles and practices. ● Ensure proper fit-up by checking edge preparation (bevel angles, root gap, land, overlap etc.) ● Ensure welding works are performed as per approved procedures (WPS) and welders ● In-process welding surveillance and visual inspection of weld finish.
