• Job Details:I worked as a shift leader "duty commander" operation officer in special operations sector in Cairo International Airport. (Captain) Job Description: • Securing terminal three in Cairo airport (landing area - departure area - arrival hall - departure hall) in the 24 hrs (early - late - night shifts) from inside and outside. • Supervising (officers - sub officers - soldiers) under our command while performing their duties and be highly visible as much as possible. • Rapid respond to any terrorist actions targeting terminal three and be able to take decisions in a very short time under high stress. • Representing special troops department in the crisis management room in Cairo airport. • Training all the (officers - sub officers - soldiers) under our command with the cooperation of other Departments in terminal three on all the probabilities that we could face while performing our duty and its precautionary procedures. • Performing an accurate control on all the main entrance and exits which leads to and from the airport if there is any possible threat to peace and order and related to operational plans. • Training the (officers - sub officers - soldiers) under our command on all the different skills that was mentioned in the previous duties. • Drafting developed security plans with the cooperation of the other organizations in the airport in facing any crisis management such as strikes and sit-in strike. • Inspects all weapons, security equipment issued from the sector and ensures it is fully functioning.
