• Job Details:Working on the Cairo Metro Line 3 – a large-scale infrastructure project worth over €1.5 billion. Supporting inventory and materials operations in one of Egypt’s largest public transport projects. Creating and maintaining item master records in the system, ensuring accurate descriptions, part numbers,classifications, and subsystems while eliminating duplicates. Handling daily inventory transactions, performing physical stock checks, and resolving discrepancies between system records and actual stock. Reviewing supplier invoices and ensuring full compliance with the 4-way matching process. Coordinating with the finance team to prepare and issue monthly customer invoices. Collaborating with CMMS and data engineering teams to accurately document final spare parts handovers toclients. Supervising warehouse operations and guiding the team in improving item descriptions and ensuring data accuracy. Managing work order backlog by identifying reserved but unissued materials and initiating necessary actions. Ensuring materials issued are fully aligned with maintenance work orders and verifying all data prior to transactionprocessing. Monitoring and adjusting stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking. Preparing reports on stock status, material consumption trends, and cost analysis to support management decisions. Analyzing inventory turnover, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing actions to reduce waste.  Leading cycle counting activities and executing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy. Participating in the implementation of new systems and technologies to improve inventory control processes.  Ensuring compliance with internal standards and international best practices in inventory management.
