• Job Details:Responsibilities: Spearheading project management operation of different components such as socio-economic profiling, rehabilitation, capability building (training and development) and project monitoring and evaluation and advocacy and promotion; presents in meetings on matters related to the project and perform other tasks as requested by the Director; The 2KR LOM Project was transferred to the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service of the Department of Agriculture starting January 2015 up to the present where I continue my duties as its project coordinator/project manager. Significant Accomplishments/Experiences Gained: Extensive project management experienced from planning, hiring of staff, budgeting, scheduling, financial management, directing, coordinating, public relation and project promotion (online and printed publication), capability building (training and development), procurement and logistics and other administrative concerns of the project. Coordinated all relevant stakeholders from national to regional to local level (LGU clients) and key players in the industry and local and foreign supply chain actors and stakeholders. Represented the project in major management meetings and mid-year or year-end assessment of the Japan foreign-funded project. One project site which I have implemented and recently inaugurated was featured in Livestock and Meat Business Magazine as cover story for its May 2016 issue with the title “Help from KR2 Project: Uson levels up 67-year old livestock “oksyon” market.” Recently inaugurated the Uson, Masbate and Canlaon City rehabilitated and modernized LOM project site. Facilitated and acted as resource person for the project training in Canlaon City and Uson, Masbate entitled “Training on the Operation and Management of a Modernized Livestock “Oksyon” Market.”

Consultant as Value Chain Specialist (part-time capacity)Full Time

• Job Details:Updated Strategic Agribusiness Development Plan Statistics; Updated value chain to latest data (2011) and prepare similar for volume and value; Prepared similar value chains (per unit, volume and value) for red meat, broiler, eggs, goat, dairy, hogs, duck and yellow corn commodities; Prepared other economic analyses as maybe determined by the stakeholders’ consultation; Supervised the research assistant; and Participated in Team meetings and consultations. Significant Accomplishments/Experiences Gained: Contributed in the development of supply chain technology models for the following commodities: hog, broiler chicken, goat for meat and dairy goats, beef cattle and dairy cattle, carabao for meat and dairy carabao, layer duck and corn. Contributed in the development of financial model of benefit-cost analysis and profitability analysis for the modernization of livestock markets in the Philippines. Contributed as project team member in the development of Livestock, Poultry, and Feed Crops Industry Roadmap for the Philippines Department of Agriculture.

Project Coordinator/Agriculturist IIFull Time

• Job Details:Responsibilities: Served as the project coordinator (DA-SO 366, series of 2011 dated May 4, 2011) of the Japan-funded project and serve as the chairman of the different meeting related to the implementation of the project Spearhead the strategic planning activities of the project from proposal preparation to implementation of the foreign-funded project; Prepared or spearheaded in the submission of the physical and financial plan, accomplishment report, project procurement management plan, memorandum of agreement with clients, Special Orders, and related project administrative and planning documents to the BAI Planning Office, Japan 2KR Program Secretariat and the Department of Agriculture; Spearheaded in the negotiation of target clients local government units counterpart funding requirement in the development project that include the infrastructure, training and equipment counterpart of municipality/city to the project; Served as resource person for the agency-level and department level planning session/meetings; Served as the Project Leader of the Project Monitoring & Evaluation, Advocacy & Promotion Component of the project; Served as a one of the members of the five-man Technical Working Group (TWG) of the project and assistant of the TWG Chairman in the conduct of project-related meetings; Spearheaded in the conceptualization of the project 11-pages standard LGU profile assessment form, development of web and database server technology, and the formulation of the databases of the project; Handled the packaged capability building (training and development) component of the project from training and development planning to implementation, evaluation and promotion; and Coordinated the development of promotional and advocacy output of the project. Significant Accomplishments/Experiences Gained: Experienced in selling and negotiating with local Chief Executives (Mayors) to provide counterpart funding for the project. Experienced in implementing infrastructure project in the rehabilitation of livestock "oksyon" market. Experienced in facilitating the establishment of database and web server, website/portal for the project with some IT staff working with me. Spearheaded the rehabilitation and modernization of Lemery, Batangas Livestock “Oksyon” Market and on-going activities is being done for the following project sites: Uson, Masbate; Canlaon City, Negros Oriental, while the two project sites Leon, Iloilo and Sibalom, Antique will be implemented by 2015. Successfully negotiated the project counterparts funding of client-LGUs in relation to the counterpart funding to be provided by the Japan 2KR project with the local chief executives, MANCOM and Sangguniang Bayan (local legislature) members. As project coordinator spearheads the successful implementation of Livestock Transaction System (LTS), a database system which monitors the cattle and carabao being transacted in the rehabilitated and modernized Lemery LOM with the interface of digital weighing scale and Philippine National Standards for Slaughter Cattle and Carabao incorporated in the system, which is capable of giving the estimated value of the livestock, provide grading and weight of the animals. With the implementation of Lemery LOM as a 2KR LOM project, within the six months of operation after the inauguration, the revenue of the LGU in LOM operation increased by more than 20 percent in 2013 and by more than 50 percent in 2014.
