Evaluating defects using Salesforce & digital thread engineering, identifying similar cases for efficient workflow execution. Ensuring technical documentation meets industry standards for manufacturing, inspection, and engineering approvals. Working with design engineers & approval teams to assess defect categories, implement best practices, and maintain operational quality. Continuously working on SolidWorks to build modeling proficiency and applying GD&T principles to improve design interpretation, tolerance analysis, and manufacturability understanding alongside aerospace operations work.

Research & Development Engineer

• Job Details:Reviewed and evaluated customer drawings for 5 –10 sample parts, identifying design feasibility and potential manufacturing issues. Prepared feasibility reports, coordinated approvals with internal teams, and ensured timely procurement of materials. Conducted dimensional inspections on received mandrels and metal parts using tools like CMM, vernier calipers, and height gauges. Supervised hose and molded component production, performing tensile tests, burst pressure tests, hardness checks, vacuum tests, and visual inspections to ensure quality standards. Generated detailed technical reports, PPAP documentation, bubbling diagrams, and product transfer reports (PTR) for part validation and dispatch.
