• Job Details:Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety. Ensure all contractors work safely in accordance with the site safety plan. Provide initial safety induction training for contractors working on site as to the procedures concerning health and safety. Conducts the monthly site safety meeting and prepares monthly safety meeting topics. Ensure trainings are delivered as per training matrix and project requirements. Ensure availability of first aid kits and fire extinguishers at all workplaces. Preparing and updating the training materials as per requirements. Carrying out risk assessment & monitoring of unsafe practices and suggesting corrective actions. Inspection of permit to work system and advising on procedures for job activities. Implements site-specific safety programs, such as emergency evacuation and visitor training. Conduct regular site inspections, recording all violations, noting what remediation needs to occur to keep the project moving forward safety.
