• Job Details:• Re-established and re-enforced the proper documentation for resolving batch job abends (programs ended in Aborts) adhering to the standard of Root Cause Analysis (Background, Root Cause, Corrective, Preventive Action) • Performed as a primary point-of-contact during case/incident escalations from Operations Center during 24X7 oncall support. • Provided regular status of each assigned Incidents and escalate as necessary. • Provided timely coordination of progress, resolution, and production impact to all stakeholders on assigned incidents. • Led and participate in minor and major system upgrades. • Resolved incidents according to SLA, team SOP and guidelines. • Identified and worked to correct functional and operational issues causing abends and/or missed deliverables. • Provided reference for customers by writing documentation; providing support and help. • Reviewed, build and migrated programs/code changes to production. • Debugged C and Cobol programs as part of root cause investigation that led to resolved issues. • Created tools using Perl and UNIX Scripting for file and database manipulation. • Automate the repetitive process.
