• Job Details:Built Competence Assurance Programs and periodically review and change as required by the needs of the fleet.  Monitored operational and HSE incidents, industry trends and best practices then updated competency program and training to meet organizational needs.  Implemented Competence Assurance Programs on all rigs (business units).  Established, monitored and Maintained month rig (business unit) competency Program metrics to gauge status and quality of assessments  Acquired International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Accreditation and ensured successful yearly audits from IADC.  Review the progress as well as integrity of the assessments completed.  Assess where there is GAP's in the programs and close those GAP's by regular updates to the programs.  Identify overall GAP's in all role based competencies and provide supplemental training to close those GAP's.  Maintain Mandatory Training Matrixes as well as the Mandatory Rig required Training Matrixes.  Perform yearly Training Audits on the rigs (business units) in accordance with the program.  Review where we as a Company could save money on training without influencing Quality.  Developed and delivered Competency and Employee Development Training for supervisors and managers.  Taught Leadership Skills (Critical 6) to Supervisors/Managers.  Building Competence Assurance Programs for all rig Based positions.  Customize and include company specific procedure in competency guidelines as per client’s requirements.  Competency assurance system procedures.  Create Competency task list per position and per discipline.  Set up implementation plan for competency assurance programs.  Visit Offshore facilities and perform competency roll out and assessor training.  Ensure understanding from management and key personnel on the program and how it shall be utilized.  Ensure understanding from management and key personnel of the competence assurance process.  Coaching to help ensure process is carried out according to program.  Develop Assessor Training Program.  Perform assessor training.  Help and support to develop an e-learning strategy.
