Taken initiatives to launch short term projects to minimize waste as immediate solutions to mitigate the losses. In a process of inculcating lean manufacturing concept in all managers and executives mind set to understand total lean process before implementation. Encouraged team to practice “6S” concept. Developed effective communications and managed to bridge communication gaps in inter departments as well as local Sales & Marketing team in order to obtain desired monthly revenue targets. Senior Production Planning & Control Manager / Senior Factory ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:● Effectively prepare and manage the critical path analysis to ensure timely available all raw materials (fabric, sewing accessories and packing materials) to operate 80 production lines in 5 factories to optimize productivity. ● Frequently attended customer line review meeting at overseas to understand what customer really wanted and align with customer expectation (seasonal). Liaise with the customer for technical constrains at the beginning of the program. ● Product development process, Pre Production planning & scheduling and focus on how fast service can be given to the customer. ● Monitoring the progress of respective departments in the factories and guide those to determine the manufacturing priorities and managing the product orders as per buyer’s requirement (Quality, Quantity and Delivery) while considering compliance rules. ● Making right decision at right time in terms of technical and quality issues when arise. ● Closely monitoring individual factories are achieving agreed daily targets to avoid production fall out and also make sure to achieve budgeted capacity and run the organization effectively. ● More focus on cycle time (CT), cut to order, ship to orders, material utilization (MU) and first pass yield (FPY) in order to maximize the company productivity and profitability. (KPI’s) ● Conducting monthly production meeting with individual factories to understand their problematic area for continuous improvements. ● Motivate the team to achieve maximum performance level. This will includes quarterly performance appraisals to set and review objectives along with an assessment of individual performance and development needs against the competencies required. ● Identify the teammates who are below the expectations and manage opportunities to develop the individuals and team. ● Being the member of Cross Functional Team (CFT) identifying unnecessary wastages to be cut down and looking all the avenues to improve productivity through cost effectively. Taken initiatives to start lean production in few identified production lines. ● Effectively manage and monitor outsource operations in larger scale while maintain the product quality, quantity and timely deliveries. Taken ownership to set-up centralized new cutting plant as to support lean manufacturing process. Also setting up KPI’s in meeting such as Cut to order, Ship to Order, CT, OTD, FPY, Efficiency etc. Ensure to achieve monthly SAH loading as per the budget. Ensure Factory is operating with rules & regulations per compliance requirements. Reduce the cost by implementing best practices and by improving efficiency. Introduce lean manufacturing concept and managed to mitigate the WIP. Developed good relationship with workers and maintain absenteeism less than 5%, control the turn over less than 3% Conduct monthly operation meeting with union members. Making decision with regards to technical issues as well as quality concerns issues pro-actively. Ability to deal with problems immediately and develop the team members to achieve better results. Always focus on company growth by getting the team support towards innovative concepts to create manufacturing excellence.
