• Job Details:Appointed to provide diligence and critical evaluation of all aspects of mid-market M&A transactions and large scale Project Finance proposals and advise on valuations, strategy, preparation of legal documents and negotiations with the counterparty. Sample Engagements: • Delivered the €1.7bn project for the construction of an LNG Hub in SE Europe by evaluating the feasibility, researching the global Natural Gas Industry and submitting a detailed report to the investors. • Completed the €50m proposed acquisition of a private bank in Liechtenstein by analysing financial performance and status, carrying out due diligence and constructing financial models to advise the Buyer on strategy and price range. • Negotiated a price reduction from €85m to €63m on the acquisition of a real estate investment trust (REIT) listed on the Stock Exchange through researching and evaluating the relevant sub-segment of the market. • Led the €71m acquisition of a large private hospital in Athens by advising the buyer on a Public Tender through the bidding process and conducting further negotiations to guarantee jobs.

• Job Details:Appointed by and reporting to the Greek Government, with full P&L responsibility, “to run and privatize the Group without any disruption of operations nor any safety compromises whatsoever”, to seek and obtain privatization approval from the European Commission and run an International Bid. Key Achievements: • Reduced costs by €280m pa for the Greek Republic through the targeted implementation of the privatisation process and a detailed strategic design despite resistance of the Unions and the looming Global Financial Crisis. • Maintained no loss of revenue as a result of transitioning from Olympic Airways to Olympic Air by designing and carrying out a seamless overnight transfer of operations across 39 airports, the first in aviation industry. • Achieved €112m in total compensation reclaimed through successful European Court Arbitrations by leading and directing internal financial and legal teams and appointing a firm of International Lawyers. • Improved EBITDA by 17% by streamlining processes with the Ground Handling operation in 39 airports, reducing aircraft delivery times by 30% with the MRO and re-negotiating supplier agreements. Saved €20m per annum in operational costs by restructuring the senior management team, establishing and implementing new policies and procedures, strict liquidity and supply chain management.

• Job Details:Appointed by and reporting to the Greek Government, with full P&L responsibility, to establish a licensed commercial airline conforming to Industry and Government regulations in order to be used as a corporate vehicle for the privatisation of OLYMPIC AIRLINES. Key Achievements: • Saved €59m on the set up of the airline by dry-leasing instead of purchasing, mastering the regulatory framework and operational requirements and implementing them on time and to budget. • Earned €1.3m in dividends, paid to the Greek Government as a result of short term investments by utilising banking network contacts and carrying out a shrewd bidding process. • Built the entire organizational structure, corporate governance, policies and procedures, safety practises, created the business plan and the marketing approach and designed the operational plan.
