Key Achievements: • Reduced costs by €280m pa for the Greek Republic through the targeted implementation of the privatisation process and a detailed strategic design despite resistance of the Unions and the looming Global Financial Crisis. • Maintained no loss of revenue as a result of transitioning from Olympic Airways to Olympic Air by designing and carrying out a seamless overnight transfer of operations across 39 airports, the first in aviation industry. • Achieved €112m in total compensation reclaimed through successful European Court Arbitrations by leading and directing internal financial and legal teams and appointing a firm of International Lawyers. • Improved EBITDA by 17% by streamlining processes with the Ground Handling operation in 39 airports, reducing aircraft delivery times by 30% with the MRO and re-negotiating supplier agreements. Saved €20m per annum in operational costs by restructuring the senior management team, establishing and implementing new policies and procedures, strict liquidity and supply chain management.
