Safety Engineer

• Job Details:Ensuring full compliance with the JV HSE management system and BP’s control of work (COW) standards across all operations and contractor interfaces. Reviewing and revising HSE policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local regulatory requirements. Supporting asset management in the strategic implementation of safety initiatives to achieve zero-incident operations and maintain excellent HSE performance. Promoting an 'incident-free workplace' culture through workforce coaching, safety campaigns, HSE weekly meetings, toolbox talks (TBT), and continuous improvement practices. Delivering technical HSE training and awareness programs on high-risk topics such as working at height, confined space, lifting operations, H2S awareness, ground disturbance, waste management, and risk assessment (TRA). Managing site implementation and compliance of the permit to work (PTW) system for both routine operations and shutdown periods. Leading internal HSE audits, site inspections, and dropped object surveys to proactively identify gaps and enforcing corrective actions. Conducting and reviewing task risk assessments (TRA), job safety analyses (JSA), and operational risk assessments (ORA) in coordination with frontline teams and supervisors. Preparing and submitting comprehensive weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE reports, including KPI tracking, trend analysis, and compliance metrics. Participating in incident investigations using root cause analysis (RCA) and critical learning cycle (CLC) tools, and following up on corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Ensuring contractor HSE compliance through onboarding, toolbox talks, site inductions, and daily coordination to improve safety behavior and accountability. Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and evacuation procedures, and conducting regular drills while serving as an emergency response and triage team member. Playing a key role as HSE turnaround (TAR) coordinator during plant shutdowns, ensuring safe execution, contractor supervision, and timely permit issuance. Monitoring and managing HSE reporting systems to encourage quality submissions (near misses, safety observations, incidents, and reports), and implementing a reward system to boost workforce participation. Contributing to HSE performance reviews, management walkthroughs, and leadership safety visits by providing accurate briefings and actionable improvement proposals. Participating in contractor evaluations, HSE tender reviews, and prequalification processes to ensure adherence to high HSE standards in procurement and execution. Participating in technical tender reviews and PPE trials to assess equipment durability, worker feedback, and hazard compatibility (e.g., flame-resistant clothing, H2S escape sets, ATEX-rated gear). Providing expert input to procurement teams on PPE selection, vendor qualification, and purchasing specifications, ensuring optimal balance between quality, safety, and cost.

Field Safety Officer

• Job Details:Performing site safety audits and safety inspections ensuring compliance with PPE usage, permits to work, and safety procedures. Monitor HSE performance and targets on monthly basis. Prepare and ensure sharing of HSE bulletin, safety communication, incident alert with all workers. Monitor HSE lagging and leading indicators and prepare annual HSE report. Assist PTW and SIMOPS meetings on daily basis. Supervising the handling and disposal of drilling fluids and hazardous materials. Recording incidents, near-misses and leading root cause analyses for corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to employees on safe work practices and procedures. Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks. Investigate incidents and prepare final reports, tracking actions resulting from investigations. Organize and conduct monthly emergency drills (fire, H2S) and major simulation exercises every six months (explosion, multiple casualties). Ensure spill kits, including chemical spill kits, are available on-site. Ensure that all vehicles and mobile equipment operating in classified areas are equipped with flame arrestors. Participate in preparing rescue plans and update the emergency plan for the mega project shutdown operations.

HSE Specialist

• Job Details:Maintained compliance with environmental and safety laws. Assisting in the development and implementation of the company’s HSE policies and procedures in alignment with national regulations and industry best practices. Supporting the creation of safety documentation such as risk assessments, emergency response plans, and work instructions for high-risk activities. Maintaining and updating safety records, training logs, inspection checklists, and compliance documentation for internal and external audits. Organizing and coordinating HSE training sessions, safety inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors. Conducting hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) for routine and non-routine tasks and recommending suitable control measures. Monitoring workplace safety conditions, housekeeping standards, and workers’ use of PPE, and reporting deviations to the HSE supervisor. Participating in daily safety walks and inspections with site supervisors and project teams. Assisting in the investigation of unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near-misses to support root cause identification and corrective action planning. Communicating HSE alerts, lessons learned, and safety bulletins to staff as part of ongoing awareness and continuous improvement. Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of safety equipment such as gas detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits. Collaborating with the HR and training department to maintain employee HSE training compliance and certifications.
