• Job Details:Working as QA in an onsite-offshore project for testing web based applications. Main responsibilities: • Understanding and review of the functional requirements • Sending information requests to client side business analyst • Design, develop and execute manual test cases based on the functional specification. • Validating test scripts against Billing and Business check lists • Getting test scripts reviewed by client side business and development team • Reviewing test scripts from other QA members. • Locating test accounts and create test data • Executing automated billing script against a set of test accounts and verifying the outputs/invoices. • Executing test scripts against feature, develop and release branches • Raising and retesting of bugs • Managing other QA members. • Updating test results in manual QA tasks • Sending daily status update to onsite DU lead • Setting up and checking automation smoke test results • Effective communication with developers on the Bugs. • Preparing live regression script. • Supporting live rollouts • Executing smoke tests against live • Retesting of priority bugs and hot fixes on live
