Buyer / Expeditor

• Job Details:Support in developing and maintaining short and long-term sourcing plans. Ensure the required materials availability on site as per the requirement from operation and engineering team. Perform purchasing execution activities for the project. Ensure ordering of the materials based on the right quantity and specification on the orders placed within the time frame. Place orders and action based on the company policies and procedures. Works closely with the production team to monitor work order progress. Anticipates the impact of future requirements and provides adjustments in scheduling as needed. Managing the inventory to meet inventory target without affecting the operation plan. Review and maintain the information of materials and orders on Oracle Fusion. Generate weekly, monthly or annual reports related to the activities as per required KPIs. Maintains and reports out assigned metrics such as on time delivery, aged work in progress. Negotiate with vendors to get the best price, specification, quality of materials. Schedule POs and orders delivery based on site operation plan. Work on reducing the cost and increasing the profitability of the site by building the competing culture between vendors. Work closely with the operation team to ensure to meet the priority of receiving materials based on agreed plan. Maintains planning parameters in the Oracle Fusion system to ensure all planning and scheduling strategies are accurately planned and reflected in Oracle Fusion system. Define and apply complex data analysis and analytical tools for process improvements. Provides the project management team with manufacturing due dates and advanced notice of shipping delay information. Complies with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
