1. System and Network Integrity

2. Coordination of information systems and networks
• Coordinates, manages and executes projects, as assigned, tracks major developments, and revises deadlines, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements and Prepares business cases for selected projects.
• Prepares, monitors, and recommend analyzes the budget.
• Able to identify and organize tickets according to priority.
• Maintains, develops and provides reports for projects.
• Coordinates, implements, and improves overall operational practices and procedures within the department in collaboration with staff.
• Tracks and monitors the progress of issues through the applied of policies, standard practices, procedures and collective agreements
• Making business meetings with Network related Vendors , refreshing business relations , reviewing last technology updates from technology vendors , coordinating Network team needs and invoicing with them
• Handling smartnet renewals , troubleshooting tickets with vendor , technical needs , software implementations , network scanning
• Supervision and coordinating with internal & external 3rd parties inside & outside IT scope , ( civil , cooling , power issues , network maintenance , hardware )
• Handle documents and communications with IT Coordinator in relation to purchase orders, quotes, specification, invoices, etc.
• Maintain network stock inventory and ensure all network equipment is under warranty and/or maintained accordingly.
• Work with HQ teams and supervisors to apply corporate network polices to the region


3. Supervision and leadership
• Recruits, selects and supervises day-to-day activities of staff under direct supervision in compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures
• Respond to escalated service tickets on LAN, WAN and VoIP and assign appropriately
• Work with Global team concerning infrastructure and related LAN, WAN and VoIP issues.
• Plans, organizes and coordinates formal and informal orientation and training of employees under direct supervision.
• Conducts performance enhancement process for staff under direct supervision in accordance with standard practice and collective agreements.
• Manages personnel issues that arise between performance planning activities.
• Manages and allocates workload when necessary and help define priorities, approving the use of overtime when necessary.
• Approves, monitors, and reports vacation and other absences for all staff under the direct supervision.
• Arranges for coverage for all vacation and long-term absences as required.
• Provides leadership by disseminating information, providing feedback, advising, and coaching
• Keeping the network drawings up to date , IP’s database , passwords , stock docs up to date and accessable by all needed team members
• Review and approve related network change management requests from team members
• Review and recommend fix for all network unplanned outages opened by team mambers
