Office Engineer

• Job Details:Prepare detailed quantity take-offs & shop drawing for road and all infrastructure works including stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and electrical utilities based on IFC and shop drawings. Ensure accurate measurement according to relevant codes, specifications, and project BOQ. Prepare, review, and coordinate reinforcement shop drawings for structural elements in infrastructure works such as manholes, culverts, thrust blocks, retaining structures, and valve chambers and concrete encasements and all kinds of duct banks. Ensure bar bending schedules (BBS) are accurate and compliant with structural design, codes, and site requirements. Coordinate with structural engineers, site engineers, and subcontractors for approvals and implementation. Develop and review bill of quantities (BOQ) in accordance with contract documents. Coordinate with site engineers to collect data on actual work performed for submission of claims. Assist in preparing monthly progress reports based on site activities and quantities. Assist in the evaluation of subcontractors’ quantities and invoices. Ensure all quantity surveying and drawing works comply with relevant codes, project specifications, and client requirements. Maintain organized records of all quantity surveying, BBS, and shop drawing documentation.
