• Job Details:Reporting all works to the Construction Manager, about the Cable-Stayed Bridge located 82 kilometres east of Kampala, at 00 26 15N; 33 11 15E coordinates (Latitude: 0.4375; Longitude: 33.1875): • Daily supervised all preliminary civil, safety, environment and electro-mechanical engineering works, hoarding and security fencing, and the batching plant works. • Acted as a construction clerk of works, and prepared daily and monthly progress reports. • Prepared method statements, specifications of works, quality control manuals among others. • Daily supervised and cross-checked the production of all structural CAD drawings, reinforced concrete and structural steel member designs from the Design Office before approval.

Site EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Reporting to the Projects Manager; with the responsibility of supervising all civil, building, electro-mechanical, landscape, and ancillary works; enforcing safety and environmental policies; securing materials, plant and equipment, writing progress project reports, among other items: • Supervised the setting-out of beacons, coordinates, vertical and horizontal road controls. • Testing of sampled engineering materials for physical strength parameters in compliance with the ASTM, AASHTO, DIN, TRRL and Uganda Standards for the road and building materials. • Preparing Gantt charts, work-breakdown structures, structural CAD drawings, bar-bending material schedules, BOQs, formulating quality control and method statements for all works.

Civil EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Reporting to the Projects Manager with the responsibility of supervising the geosynthetics-pavement reinforcements design, providing oversight and leadership over a team of CAD Engineers; overseeing quality assurance of works, analysing technical survey data, and carrying out structural analyses: • Oversaw the preparation of Resettlement Action Plans and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments for the over 223.10 km Kasarani - Thika - Meru Highway project in Kenya. • Supervised the projects, prepared quality control and method statements, general work specifications, programs and technical reports, road inspection surveys, work progress reports. • Data review and analysis, water demand and hydraulic design estimations, design of treatment plants, detailed network designs, BOQs, and pipe line profiles for the water supply systems.
