• Job Details:Responsible for: • Network Transition planning and implementation: Integration of new ISP links (MPLS & Internet) into the Corporate WAN. • Configuration of VPN IPSec (Site-to-Site and Remote Access) Profiles on Cisco ASA 5505/5510 for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) Server Integration and secure remote access to corporate Servers (MIS, SageX3, GIS and other critical business function Servers). • Configuration and Administration of Routers (Cisco, H3C, & Mikrotik), Switches (Cisco & Mikrotik), Firewall Appliances (Cisco ASA & Cyberoam), VOIP Gateways (Huawei/E1 Links) and so on for Data and Voice Connectivity. • Proactive monitoring of network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) to ensure ISPs meet SLAs. Isolation and escalation of incidents to ISPs for resolution. • Coordinating of all Network technical activities, activities of direct reports for efficient Helpdesk. • Coaching and training of direct reports to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the Unit/Department, and of implemented technologies as well as identifying developmental opportunities for team members. • Continuously seeking self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
