Merchant Onboarding Specialist | KYC & Risk |Full Time

• Job Details:Performs due diligence checks, KYC/KYB verification, merchant onboarding, and risk assessment. • Reviews new and existing merchant applications to assess the eligibility of a merchant to use PayTabs products and services, and ensures applications are compliant to card schemes. • Anticipates and mitigates the anticipated risks prior to granting merchant account, recommends and negotiates with the account managers the applicable and acceptable controls that PayTabs may apply when merchant gets onboarded. • Holds responsibility in attaining and adhering to the set timelines in onboarding merchants. • Identifies, resolves and communicates issues related to applications, miscellaneous documentation in a timely fashion to prevent adverse merchant impact. • Responds to emails and calls for merchant-onboarding requirements and status related inquiries. • Compiles periodic reports, statistics for management requirement and review. • Ensures that identification of the expired documents (trade license and personal identification of owners) is well maintained. • Pre & Post Website Review - Website monitoring for Card Scheme and Domestic Regulatory violations • Alert Transactions Monitoring Team for potential high risk and fraud accounts.
