• Job Details:Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills. Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order Read books to entire classes or to small groups. To ensure that the preschool nursery provides a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times. To ensure all staff understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies. Take responsibility for planning, which ensures each child is working towards the early learning goals. Ensure all records are properly maintained in accordance with the policies and procedures of the nursery. Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play. Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order. Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips. Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. Preparing exams and exercises to the children. Prepare reports on children and activities as required by administration. Demonstrate activities to children. Assimilate arriving children to the school environment by greeting them, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting activities of interest to them.
