• Job Details:- Coordinates the activities of the modelling unit by reviewing plans, proposals and other initiatives.  - Plans, organizes and coordinates the activities of professional and technical staff engaged in designing economic models and implementing, monitoring and evaluating economic policies.  - Reviews existing policies and identifies and recommends policies necessary within the context of the current Ministry’s mandate.  - Participates and takes the lead in planning and managing economic research and economic policy.  - Participates in the development and execution of plans and strategies to facilitate the Ministry’s and the Unit’s Agenda.  - Assists in maintaining a network of support with other research and similar organizations to facilitate the integration of policies and programmes for executing reports and policy briefs.  - Assists in forging strategic alliances with stakeholders in the public and private sector both nationally and internationally with the aim of achieving key results.  - Represents the Unit and the Ministry at meetings, conferences, courses, committees, seminars and workshops.
