Inventory Manager

• Job Details:Responsible for using inventory management systems to update and maintain records. Monitor and report on stock levels, discrepancies and general stock movement, identifying and resolving where appropriate. Perform daily stock cycle counts and assist in monthly audits to ensure accurate figures are recorded in the database. Liaise with suppliers via telephone and email to confirm and track deliveries and lead times in line with inventory procedures. Responsible for implementing inventory control procedures and practicing accordingly. Liaise with all departments within the warehouse including goods in, returns, despatch and order start to keep a steady work flow and ensure business goals are met. Prepare detailed reports daily using Microsoft Excel and D365 outlining all inventory operations including statistics and KPI’s. Attend daily meetings with operations managers to discuss business goals and report on all movement recorded. Monitor records to identify obsolete stock including sell by dates and non priority stock. Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure correct storage and appropriate locations for inventory within the warehouse. Manage inventory through data analysis and forecasting to achieve business goals and adhere to regulations. Identify any risks regarding inventory storage and correct accordingly. Follow all health and safety procedures on site and act as an example to fellow staff and colleagues. Flexible and available to work across various departments within the warehouse when required.

Inventory Manager (Temporary Contract)

• Job Details:Ensured all inventory policies and practices were adhered to throughout the business. Worked closely with site operational managers to develop inventory strategies and policies. Performed daily stock checks and updated company systems accordingly. Supplied and issued any stock required by technicians via work orders. Loaded with suppliers to confirm lead times and regular supply of stock in order to avoid any disruption in business performance. Supported in driving a continuous improvement culture within the operation.
