• Job Details:Assisted senior technicians in diagnosing, disassembling, and replacing powertrain components—engines, gearboxes, and pistons—across multiple MG models (HS, RX5, ZS, 6, 5, Z360). Performed piston replacement with precise tolerance checking using micrometers and feeler gauges. Executed wheel removal and installation, and replaced steering control arms (lower and upper wishbones) and tie-rod ends using hydraulic lifts and precision torque tools to maintain proper wheel alignment. Carried out engine and gearbox-cleaning procedures, including degreasing, pressure-washing, and detailed component inspection to verify compliance with OEM tolerances. Supported preventative maintenance services—oil and filter changes, brake pad and rotor inspections, and suspension component checks—helping to uphold workshop quality standards. Collaborated with the parts department to order, receive, and track replacement components, streamlining inventory management and reducing vehicle downtime.
