- Job Details:I helped the Practice process medication requests by patients and aided in multiple medication reviews and medication reconciliations. I also performed an audit of patients taking Aspirin with no cardiovascular disease or no clear indication on their GP records. This project involved me extensively searching their medication and medical history to identify the possible indication for taking Aspirin. I also undertook some training for clinical examination skills, including blood pressure measurement. In addition, I shadowed the GP pharmacist's meetings, including with doctors from Mental Health Trusts, Lead PCN pharmacist meetings.

- Job Details:I dispensed prescriptions for the hospital's pharmacy. Supported with incoming stores supplies, including unboxing and placing in appropriate places, this included IV bags, cytotoxic chemotherapeutics, unlicensed medication, and other types of medication. This placement was to help the hospital while transitioning from paper-based patient records to the online HIVE system.

- Job Details:I went on a month-long pharmaceutical industry placement with Pharco Corporation. Where I went over the departments of production, Quality control (QC), Quality assurance (QA), Research and development (R&D), and pharmacovigilance. I learnt about the production of solid dosage forms, in addition to injections and water for injection in the sterile area of the industry. The placement took place for 2 weeks at PharcoB and then 2 weeks at European Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industry companies respectively. Gained an overall picture of the pharmacist's role in each department and overseeing their management. I also took classes on GMP, GDP, and presentation skills.
