-Graduation Project Low-power hardware implementation for VGG 16-layer. By using FPGA design flow, implemented on vertex ultra scale+ using Vivado ISE. Supervisors: Dr Hassan Moustafa and Dr Amr Helmy. Final grade: A. Objective: to achieve the lowest power consumption targeting low-power applications. Trade off: lower power consumption 3.64 W against the throughout which is an image per 2.6 sec. The area is also reduce due to using ultra RAM in vertex ultra scale+ instead of using the LUTs. -A semi-finalist place at MEMS DESIGN CONTEST 2018 Co-sponsored by Cadence, Coventor, X-FAB and Reutlingen University, was achieved for our Micro-Object Levitator and Accelerator project.
