• Job Details:Provide leadership and direction through managers to achieve financial and operational results. Plan, direct and coordinate the administrative and operative functions of the Health, Safety, process safety and Environment department, through the implementation of strategies, to ensure that Methanol Plant is a safe and environmentally responsible working place for employees and the community around it. Provide overall leadership and effective management of operational functions while adhering to the policies and directions of the Board and applicable laws and regulations Establish strategic goals and long-term business plans for the dept with goals Manage the Health, Safety, process Safety and Environment department, focusing on building a safety culture where every employee takes personal responsibility for building and maintaining a safe workplace. Hands on responsibility for formulating and instituting policies, operating procedures and practices, establishing appropriate metrics, tools and management systems related to the department Manage the preparation, development and maintenance of written protocols such as policies, SOP, work instructions, procedures, standards, manuals, and process control and specifications to guide staff in their work Undertake Audit of all HSE& Emergency Response to ensure the governance aspects are fulfilled for all HSE management system. Undertakes and ensures all accidents are investigated and the learning’s are cascaded with the organisation to ensure they do not re-occur. Interfaced with clients and other stakeholders i.e. Regulators and contractors Developed and implement measurable HSE Business Plans that drives continuous year on year improvement with respect to HSE. Reviewed safety design specifications and formal assessments. Undertaken gap analysis to review the business risks that may come up during the operations. . Developed the environmental program to ensure full compliance with Undertaken Environmental and Safety assessments and gap analysis for the entire operations, these gap analysis studies are the basis for the development plans that are being put into place for operational excellence, and developed Safety Cases for all development projects. Manage Corporate Social Responsibility and develop programs at the grass roots to have sustained relationships with our neighbours through community participatory techniques Provide guidance to methanol plant facilities to ensure safe operations

• Job Details: Lead, Coach and guide staff in the area of QHSE.  Implemented QM-HSE management system through sound implementation of QM-HSE procedures and instructions in particular procedures having direct effect on the QM HSE management systems.  Introduced management systems like; safe job analysis (SJA), hazard Identified process (HIP), work permit or Isolation, Incident reporting and recording, Incident investigation, HSE meetings, observe system, certification of equipment, H2S at the field precautions and provide guidance on HSE performance reporting.  Coordinated in preparation of rig specific annual HSE plan. Monitored the implementation of emergency response and drills. Trained and coached and instructed safety engineers at the Rigs, CPF.  Delivered technical HSE information and experience (data, techniques, equipment specifications, know-how) to my Superior. Followed up implementation of the QMS audit corrective action plan at the Rigs.  Participated in QMS audits as an audit team member.  reviewed HSE policies and procedures and ensured that they are according to the legislation  Implemented health and safety strategies, manuals, and executed QHSE budget and developed QHSE policy.  Assures full compliance to HSE related legislation & regulations, and management system to ensure the organisation is compliance with country regulations and global standard ;
