• Job Details:• Conducted receiving inspection for the all plants (Biscuits, Pasta, wheat mill, bakery, halawa, Cartoon, duplex, printing, logistics fleet and accommodations & 4-star hotel) from the contractor and project consultant (project start-up). • Develop and update quality, health, safety, environment and food safety (QHSE/FS) policies, plans, procedures and programs within Silo Egypt • Established the QHSE organization including, quality, HSE, food safety teams, fire truck and firefighting teams, ambulance and clinic teams. • Ensures that QHSE/FS procedures and standards are maintained and continually seek ways to improve them according to best practices. • Management of food safety risk management process including identification of CCP, PRP, and OPRP • Establishing the prerequisite program process including all controls needed. • Develop and Promote safety culture in the company and continuously aims to developing exemplary behavior. • Advises Management on matters pertaining to quality, safety, health, environment and food safety including compliance with Egyptian Legislation’s. • Ensures the maintenance of the incident reporting system, investigation and analysis as stipulated in the QHSE/FS manual. • Establish, implement and maintain crisis recovery and business continuity plan for the entity • Reviews the QHSE/FS systems and practices, and make strategic recommendations for improved QHSE/FS performance. • Prepares and organizes annual QHSE/FS management review meetings, chaired by the General Manager • Supports management in QHSE/FS issues • Support to minimize costs due to poor quality and by providing a level of QHSE within the company that conforms to and balances the needs of the organization and the needs of its customers • Supports operations by developing Job task hazard analyses, supports industrial departments in the identification of job/tasks requiring qualification and in definition of competency requirements for each of them • Ensures that control hierarchy for health, safety and environment is followed to manage HSE risks including the selection and provision of personal protective equipment. • Ensure that proper investigation of customer complaints is provided and that actions are taken without undue delay. • Ensures Managers, Operators and Employees involvement in the establishment and implementation of the QHSE/FS management system. • Ensures that appropriate instructions are provided to sub-contractors on the food safety as well as safety and health procedures and instructions that they and their employees are required. • Put and update yearly Department key performance indicators (KPI’s). • Directs QHSE/FS staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports • Supervises staff in accordance with company policies and procedures • Establishes employee goals and conduct employee performance & development reviews • Schedules and conducts periodical department meetings • Assists QHSE/FS staff to resolve complex or out of policy HSE operational problems • Identifies training needs for QHSE/FS for the organization • Ensure the training of employees and contractors according qualification plan and ensures that all personnel have received appropriate QHSE/FS training as stipulated in QHSE manual. • Plan, execute and follow up audits for quality, health, safety and environment for all relevant facilities. • Analyze audit results, identify areas for improvement and areas where actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformities are mandatory and follow up implantations. • Follow up with relevant external bodies all related QHSE issues including certification audits, group audits, customer audits and legal authorities visits and inspection • Provides timely information to the GM about any deviation or noncompliance • Assesses from plans and QHSE/FS priorities what are the relevant indicators to oversee the plan implementation and to follow-up global results • Evaluates with operations managers the current indicators followed for QHSE/FS and adapt requirements if necessary • Provides trends analysis and alerts managers according to indicators assessment.

• Job Details:• Develop and promote Health Safety and Environment (HSE) strategies, policies, plans and programs within the Birla Carbon Egypt in accordance with the Group Procedures • Provide leadership and strategic direction for HSE programs and management system to: - Promote a culture of HSE excellence - Assure compliance with applicable regulations and standards - Build capacity of the organization to identify and manage risks • Developing, strategizing and implementing a long-term plan for the HSE functions. • Ensure that risk management program is established at all functions and reviewed at relevant intervals to meet local as well as corporate regulations • Plan, implement and review both proactive and reactive control measures needed for risk management • Ensure sufficient control is available for the day-to-day operations including auditing, meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems • Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued HSE integration into core operations • Monitor and ensure that all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all members and contractors within the organization. • Conduct Continuous Improvement processes to improve HSE processes and procedures for more efficient implementation and risk control. • Active participation at all levels, from strategy through to implementation as well as actively influencing and motivating a variety of people to ensure commitment to the overall HSE systems • Implement development activities needed for improving the people and organization performance. • To keep and maintain good relation with HSE-related authorities such as civil defense, EEAA, labor office. • Establish, implement and maintain crisis management and business continuity plan for the entity according to ISO-22301 • Lead incident investigation process, including cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans. Including provision of RCA / FTA training to supervisors and management. • Create, prepare, and implement safety training programs. • Support site management in the implementation of HSE plans. • Develop and implement audits to track and identify gaps in local compliance with corporate (HSE) policies and procedures. • Support creation of HSE goals for the site management and appropriate activity-based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive HSE culture, compliance and results. • Lead a company-wide program for Commitment Based Safety (CBS). • Ensure the compliance with relevant applicable legal requirements including abatement plant with EEAA and civil defense. • Timely communicates all findings, concerns and deficiencies to the responsible management team and ensures that issues, concerns and deficiencies are corrected. Develops and implements strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required. • Reviews and oversees all work processes and conditions to ensure HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) protective measures are optimized. Develops, recommend preventative and improvement measures to ensure the enhancement of EH&S programs. • Provides direct and timely counsel and information to management for the account, market area, or geographical region in matters pertaining to HSE, compliance, trends, performance and concerns. • Acts as custodian of the “Responsible Care” for the organization to obtain the RC mark from FEI-ECO (Federation of Egyptian Industries – Environmental Compliance Office)
