• Job Details:Coordination with the EC Delegation in Cairo, and other EC entities as well as Egyptian governmental authorities and NGOs. Identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing the national requirements in coordination with the competent Ministries, Authorities, and governorates, Preparing, negotiating, and drafting the National Indicative Program (NIP) for the years 2005/2006; and the NIP Program 2007/2009, Negotiating, drafting, and concluding NIP Agreements for the years 2002/2004 and 2005/2006. Following up the implementation of ongoing projects, problem solving, and acting as the focal point between parties of the Agreements Coordinating the follow-up of the implementation of the AA with the EU, Participating in the Egyptian-European negotiations on the draft ENP Action Plan (preliminary meetings and six official rounds/ three rounds in Cairo and three round in Brussels) Representing MIC in the Egyptian Delegation negotiating in the Regional Negotiations on the "Support to the Agadir Agreement" financed by the EU for establishing a south-south Free Trade Area (two rounds) and analyzing the technical support contract, Representing the Egyptian Side in the first Conference launching the Cross Border Cooperation Initiative “CBC future within the ENPI 2007-2013” as an instrument of the ENPI Negotiating and developing the CBC Document in coordination with the MFA Launching a survey among the Egyptian Authorities to identify the Egyptian interests in the CBC Receiving and studying project proposals of cooperation from the European and Mediterranean regions, and coordinating the negotiations with the concerned entities in the Egyptian governorates Representing MIC in the CBC Joint Task Force (3 meetings), Preparing reports on current economic situation; on the Egyptian /European relations containing actual assessment, conclusions and future approaches Participating in conferences, seminars and workshop locally and internationally.
