• Job Details: • Managed several projects covering project development, front end and detailed engineering, project budgeting and control, project execution and coordination, project risk management and HAZOP studies. • Developed Requests for Proposals (RFP), conducted project bid analysis and looked after contracts management. • Successfully worked on brown-field projects requiring considerable coordination with existing/working units. • Capital Projects included • Was the coordinator for the low sulphur diesel project (USD650 MM). Interfaced between various departments and the project team in London to provide a smooth conduit for information flow meeting critical project deadlines. • Project Engineer for the Kerox Merox project (USD30 MM) for replacement of the existing PbS units as an environment protection measure. The project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule with minimum impact on operations during switchover. Dismantled the old hazardous PbS unit built in 1942 working with limited information due to missing documents and drawings. • Refinery Gas Desulphurization unit (USD140 MM): Completed the challenging task of installing gas collection systems for 5 crude units and other processing units coordinating efficiently with multiple stakeholders. • Refinery Gas Export project (USD20 MM): Project manager for installing facilities for export of high C3/C4 gas for further processing dealing with multiple units and an outside agency.
