• Job Details:Working as a cost control engineer for Elsewedy Electric Infrastructure Ain Sokhna Plant. • Forecast costs (EAC) for individual projects and factory operations (Operation Fixed & Variable Costs). • Manage and monitor the factory’s overall budget, including CAPEX and OPEX. Oversee depreciation calculations. • Implement cost-saving measures, ensuring efficient use of resources & reduction of cost/hour. • Review and approve payment requests and purchase orders to maintain compliance with budget limits. • Reporting using Excel dashboards and Power BI. Reports include: Root-Cause Analysis, Production Report, Hours Analysis, Operation Cost Report, & Individual Projects Cost Reports.

Work done included: • Earned value management. • Monitor, evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts. • Detecting any deviation from the initial budget, either actual or forecasted. • Proposing corrective actions. • Revising PR’s & PO’s & deciding whether they should be accepted or rejected. • Revising subcontractors contracts & comparing their rates with the initial budgeted rates. • Reports done: Full Cost Reports quarterly (Actuals, Analysis, Forecasting), Material Losses Reports monthly.

Quantity Takeoff & Cost Estimation EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Dealing with American clients and American projects on a daily basis to perform construction estimations. • Performing material takeoffs and construction estimations for projects of varying sizes and complexity; Using Bluebeam Revu & Planswift. I work on a new project almost every week • Creating cost estimates that account for materials, resources, and labor, which is essential in the tendering/bidding phase of a project.
