- Job Details:My job involves academic and administrative supervision of teachers and students in the Cambridge Section of my school. I am responsible for the flow of the teaching process. I attend classes, evaluate teachers, supervise school exams, administer Cambridge examinations, and provide professional development for teachers and academic consultation for students regarding their future academic plans. I make sure all school teachers attend subject training provided by the boards on annual bases. I act as the liaison between the Examinations Services at the British Council and all programme-related stakeholders (e.g. school management, teacher, parents, students, boards and British Council). Staying up to date with the board's news and browsing the board’s websites, manuals, and materials for any updates or relevant information regularly is also a part of my job. I also prepare and maintain the school’s inventory list of all syllabuses, past papers, CDs, booklets, manuals and any other material related to the programme. An integral part of my job is to provide the British Council with all relevant annual statistical information related to the school. I ensure that all information and updates are disseminated to relevant parties (e.g. students, parents, teachers, and school management) promptly, as well. Moreover, I act as the first point of contact for queries from students and teachers at school and ensure that all queries are answered accurately and promptly. I manage and administer the boards supporting websites and any teaching support tools provided by the examining boards for the benefit of the related subject teachers. In addition, I complete the students’ registration process according to set standards and deadlines by the examining board.
