• Job Details:Responsible for reporting on the corporate monitoring tool, Emergency Preparedness and Response Package (EPRP), this is a mandatory tool for all country offices to measure their emergency preparedness level. Conducted and prepared simulation exercises to identify gaps in the preparedness level within the offices including the regional bureau in Cairo and support them in optimizing their preparedness level to better respond to emergencies. Designed and spearheaded workshops and webinars to colleagues in all offices to introduce new procedures of corporate tools such as (EPRP, Concept of Operations and Immediate response fund proposal) and ways to use/draft it. Designed, drafted and reviewed corporate alert system (CAS) products, which is submitted to senior management in headquarters for decision making on resources mobilization. Contributed in the COVID-19 response and relief by supporting country offices in purchasing personal protective equipment (PPE) and activating their Advanced Preparedness Actions which are hazard specific for immediate response. • Simulation Exercise mission in Tajikistan to identify preparedness gaps with a focus on earthquakes. • Preparedness mission to Libya to support the office in the crisis.

Senior Counter-Trafficking AssistantFull Time

• Job Details:Managed, organized and liaised various workshops and trainings to government officials and stakeholders to introduce the global approach and issues to irregular migration. Contributed to livelihood programmes for migrants and refuges in Egypt. Researched on new innovative ideas for livelihood programmes and drafted project proposals to donors. Introduced substantive knowledge and experience related to current policies and practices in the fields of gender equality, women’s rights and humanitarian action. • Mission to Belgium with an Egyptian delegate of government officials to learn about the magistrate procedures of dealing with irregular migration.
