- Job Details:• Import coordinator at Sigma petroleum services Company. (From 01/11/2014 till present) Responsible for the shipments starting from issuing the purchase order till the arrival of the shipment. Confer with operations manager to determine purchasing needs. Place Purchase orders for nominated suppliers, as per agreed terms & conditions. Contact each Supplier and take information regarding price, availability and product specifications. Make purchase orders and have them signed from operations manager. Liaison with the financial department to check the availability of Cash required, arranging the banking procedures & preparing payments. Evaluate freight offers (sea or air freight). Following up the shipment with the freight forwarder. Review the issuance of shipping documents with suppliers & freight forwarders as per order terms & conditions.
