Power Plant Manager-Resident Lead EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Plant Resident Lead Engineer; leading the Resident Engineers team retained for the warranty period of approximately 9 months after the Transfer of Ownership to EEHC (Egyptian electricity Holding Company)  RLE works directly with the customer and is responsible for staying in the Complex to manage the implementation of the Warranty Agreement obligations.  RLE is responsible with the Resident Team to monitor the day-to day activities by the customer after the Transfer Date up till the end of the warranty period and ensure that all the activities are being carried in line with the OEM recommendations, the prudent O&M practices.  RLE is responsible to receive all the Claims raised by the customer, categorize it and validate whether they comply with the scope and terms of the warranty agreement or not.  RLE coordinates with the regional office to pass through any valid claims raised by EEHC to a third party if applicable (Service Provider or Supplier for products or services whose term of warranty extends after the Transfer Date).  RLE leads the Resident team for the analysis of the raised customer warranty claims for responsibility, reason, cost, and resolution. RLE will send a report to the regional warranty committee including the resident team view of the raised claim.  Drafting a claim dispute notice to the customer through the regional office including the reasons and evidences of disputing the claim.  Archives all warranty claims with the concerned technical documentation and the resolved outcomes.  Monitors the resolved warranty claims by their performance in time.  Manages the implementation of some punch list items as agreed with EEHC.  Attends customer warranty meetings as required.  Create reports on customer interactions, warranty claims, and related statistics.

Manager / Lead EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Plant Engineering Manager; mainly aimed to planning, managing and evaluating all plant projects and modifications, Maintenance planning and O&M technical support • Project Management: 1-Manage, review, analyze and amend plant modifications through the DCN frame of work. 2- Assess and determines the various methods and procedures to complete a proposed modification. 3- Study, analyze project proposals, carries out the cost benefit analysis to determine feasibility, cost, time and priority. 4- Writes down the technical specifications for the proposed projects including the design data, scope of work, service provider responsibilities and any other requirements. 5- Carries out the technical evaluation of the tenders submitted by various bidders considering all aspects like safety compliance, previous experience, duration and quality. 6- Coordinates all engineering projects and activities. Acts as project manager for all outsourced contractors and service providers with close monitoring to cost, duration and quality. 7- Carries out post project work including updating drawings, manuals and O&M procedures. • Outage planning and Management for all plant Maintenance Outages, Scheduled Outages and Major Overhauls. 1- Planning for all required spares and services and subsequent tracking receiving. 2- Coordinating all Outage planning meetings. 3- Tracking and coordinating all maintenance backlog items. 4- Participating in the selection of the outage time, duration. 5- Tracking the outage progress. 6- Outage activities periodic reporting. 7- Outage Contractors management. 8- Conducting Outage post mortem meetings for evaluation of Outage effectiveness and recording the lessons learnt for areas of further improvement. • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) frame of work: 1- Selects and leads the relevant investigation team. 2- Issues the reports for all plant incidents and abnormal events 3- Provides recommendations to prevent recurrence. 4- Follows up the implementation of these recommendations. 5- Evaluate the effectiveness of these corrective actions. • Managerial activities: 1- Budget planning, control and monitoring for all plant projects and modifications, technical assistance as well as O&M items. 2- Coordinate plant Risk Management (RMU), helps to mitigate the current existing risks and updates the plant risk register in case of any new risks observed. 3- Provide technical support to the O&M departments as well as other projects owned by the company when needed. 4- Performance tracking and leading the plant team for performance improvement.

Power Plant Performance & Results EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:• Evaluates gross performance characterization of major power plant components (Boiler, Steam Turbine, Generator, Feed Water Heaters, and Condenser). • Assures that operating practices are consistent with operating procedures and equipment technical limits. • Leads the achievement of performance tests for the plant/ individual equipment. • Leads the maintenance to develop criteria that enhances the potential for performance recovery. • Provides engineering and technical expertise to the operations and maintenance personnel to enhance operating procedures and/or improve maintenance methods. • Provides the company with qualitative performance and availability analysis with recommendations that will improve the thermal performance or availability and reliability of the complex. • Tracks Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMs), assures compliance with environmental law. • Makes strategies for emission control or operations improvement. • Develops monitoring and optimization programs for fuel and auxiliaries consumption. • Issue equipment/unit failure analysis reports (EEDR). • Tracks compliance with and provides advice on all commercial issues related to Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA). • Attending Operating Committee meetings with EEHC & EETC. • Directs, coordinates, and performs the plant Dependable Capacity and Heat Rate tests as per contractual requirements. • Accurately prepares and issue monthly Energy invoice. • Tracks monthly Natural Gas consumption and compares it against Take or Pay (TOP) requirements. • Performs required penalty calculations and issues non conformance (outage) reports to the client. • Monitors, collects data and provides reports on all plant key performance indicators. • Ensures validity of collected data sources. • Maintains, controls auto generation of plant daily performance and operation reports. • Prepares and issues all plant weekly, monthly, annual operating reports and statistics. • Responsible for calculation of stock and consumption of HFO and LFO • Creates new and reviews existing plant operating procedures. • Helps to complete and maintain complete record for individual equipment events. •
