• Job Details:• Control the Quality of day to day Production activates to ensure complying with Chevron Standards. • Analyze Raw materials, Base Oils, Additives, Finished products and filling samples. • Liaised Chevron Technology for hundreds of Technical issues and Development of over 60 Products. • Optimized/adjusted the formulations of about 60 products to meet API/Chevron Standard by doing Lab Blends, corrections and required testing. • Decreased processing time by issuing a well-shaped and detailed formulation sheets and releasing product for filling on schedule after testing and Issuing Signed Certificate of Analysis. • Trained and supervised Lab technicians in performing the most complex and difficult Lab analysis, new equipment techniques and test methods updates (ASTM, IP, ISO, CMM and SM). • Calibrate/troubleshoot Lab equipment and do preventive maintenance to keep it well-functioning. • Methodized a simple and more effective standardization methods for ICP and FTIR, resulting in greater efficiency and consistency in results and around 5,000$/year reduction in Reference Materials cost. • Oversee QC activities by analyzing control samples and control charts data and take required action when needed. • Assisted/satisfied over 80 customers by analyzing/reporting Used Oil samples using LubeWatch Program. • Provided Technical Support for Sales Team and customers regarding all Lubricants categories (Engine, Gear Hydraulic, Turbine, Transformer Oil and Coolants, etc.). • Assisted in solving customer Complaints and troubleshooting their operations issues. • Communicated and negotiated suppliers/vendors for Purchasing of Lab Supplies/Consumables, resulting in having a wide and a variable market and decreasing purchasing cost of about 10,000$/year. • Managed Lab chemicals and Reference materials Inventory, resulting on saving 15% of Lab budget. • Successfully supervised Lab activates for 8 months, maintaining high Lab productivity, on time reporting and work effectively in a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible manner. • Managed/documented SDS of chemicals and Lubricants as per chevron requirements. • Addressed and investigated Quality Incidents, unsafe conditions and performed Loss prevention observations complying with OE/HES and Product Stewardship requirements. • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures and stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy. • Initiated General, Hot, Electrical, Excavation, Work at Height, Confined Space and Isolation permits. • Ensure adherence to Latest editions of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 OHSAS 18001 standards requirements and participate in internal audits over Lab and different plant areas. • Dealt with Great Plains Software to calculate and obtain cost of blended products and have knowledge on SAP and LIMS software's.
