Approving the request for the necessary goods and services from the various departments in accordance with the applicable purchasing regulations and procedures. • Develop procurement management, develop procurement plans, and define policies and procedures. • Building, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships. • Updating the various structures and models used in the procurement department. • Constant communication with warehouse management regarding stock shortage, warehouse capacity and stock turnover. • Follow up on changes and study the markets periodically. • Participation in the formulation of the objectives and main plans of the institution • Responsible for planning and preparing executive programs for procurement, which ultimately lead to achieving the main objectives of the institution • Responsible for following up the implementation of plans for the procurement department • Executing the terms of the contracts and counting the fines for delay, if any, according to the conditions mentioned in the purchase orders, and sending them to the Finance to act appropriately. • Training the personnel working in the procurement department on their work • Evaluating the performance of direct and indirect subordinates, and setting career development plans to raise their performance levels in accordance with the performance evaluation criteria. • Suggesting improvement, remedial and preventive measures that would improve work performance • Propose the appropriate budget for the Procurement Department • Issuing a quarterly and annual report on purchasing operations
