• Job Details:• Managing, Monitoring and troubleshooting storage infrastructure on Symmetrix VMAX 10K, 20K, 40K,ExtremIO, vplex, CLARiON CX4, VNX (5200&5300) using SYMCLI, SMC, Unisphere and SRM. • Managing and monitoring the ongoing replication between production and DR sites using SRDF and RecoverPoint. • Provide operational tasks for storage clone and snapshots • Perform migration (storage based migration). • Administering Cisco MDS 9509, 9222i and 9710 Fibre SAN Switches directors using Device Manager, Fabric Manager and putty. • Documentation for Capacity Planning and Management. • Case Management and Follow up with Vendors for Root Cause Analysis. • SAN Administration of a complex multi peta byte storage environment consists of EMC Symmetrix VMAX, Clariion arrays and IBM XIV, DS, flash, and HP 3par storage • Provisioning storage to UNIX, Windows and ESX servers from EMC storage arrays using SYMCLI/SMC. Tasks include creation of tdevs, binding tdevs to thin pools, creation of initiator/storage/port groups and creating masking view. • Configuration and management of Cisco Fabric environment. Tasks include creation of device alias, zones, adding zones to zoneset and activating zoneset. • Implemented RP on V-Max, VNX, and clarion for disaster recovery setup between local and remote datacenters • Created scripts for daily tasks device creation, mapping, masking and migration tasks. • Troubleshooting routine critical issues including threshold optimization, ports availability, meeting zoning requirements, one-path down, enabling the path on source or destination arrays, host not seeing storage and storage management problems. • Manage customers (internal and external) calls and requests during project implementation time and until handover to operation teams.
