• Job Details:* Implementing and applying NSX 6.0 for Vsphere L2-L7 solutions and services “e.g. Vxlan, Logical switches, Distributed Routers, Distributed Firewall, Edge Services Gateways, etc” for proper overlay deployments and provisioning of isolated DevTest and production environments. * Perform system implementation and change configuration on internal VMware Vsphere 5.5, with capacity planning, monitoring and Clustering application” e.g. HA, DRS, SDRS, Admission Control, etc”. In addition to resolving technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, troubleshooting. *Utilizing VMware Update Manager “VUM” to install the patches and the updates to the Vsphere environment hosts and workloads whenever needed. * Managing the VM creation, snapshots and cloning to maintain a consistent deployment for workloads and vApps. * Administrating, configuring and monitoring the capacity and I/O performance of the HP StorageWorks P4300 G2 SANs of the Web and App farm. * Managing and maintaining the network including its infrastructure via administrating and maintaining the LAN switched network and the WAN network with MCSD and the Disaster Recovery Site. * Monitoring The MPLS Link Status and Utilization with the Stock Exchange and with immediate reporting of any outage. * Managing and monitoring the replication cycle between the database servers and backup database servers in the Disaster Recovery Site. * Administrating and super visioning the team that is responsible of deploying email client application (Lotus Notes), BIMSI client application, Content Management client application, MESTI application, MCSD Client application, Tivoli Storage Manager Client application, Right Fax Faxutil application and Endpoint Security Client application for corporate users. * Securing email and productivity infrastructure with effective and accurate real-time antispam and antimalware protection, targeted attack protection, advanced content filtering, data loss prevention utilizing Symantec Messaging Gateway appliance. * Administrating the BIMSI primary and secondary application servers, BIMSI WEB web farm, BIMSI Fix application server, Lotus Domino Sever, Content Management Sever, WebSphere sever, Tivoli Storage Manager Server, Info Recording Server, Nortel Business Communication Manager PBX, Right Fax Server, Symantec Mail Security server and The Symantec Endpoint Protection server. * Supervision the team responsible of maintaining The Active Directory Infrastructure which includes two Forests of seven domain controllers, two file servers, two print servers, IIS Server farm and two separate PKI infrastructures. * Managing and maintaining six back-end ISA Firewalls to deliver managed and monitored internet access for corporate users. * Analyze and troubleshoot network problems and security holes on regular and in need bases utilizing packet analyzers (Wireshark). * Managing and maintaining a Failover Active/standby Front-end Cisco ASA 5520 Security Appliances in the borders of the Headquarter site and a single Cisco ASA 5520 Security Appliance in the borders of three branch sites respectively. * Administrating, configuring and monitoring the performance and the storage space of the HP StorageWorks P4300 G2 SAN of the servers’ farm. *Managing VMware infrastructure including performance tuning, capacity planning, and policy creation. * Monitoring the network infrastructure health, performance and bandwidth usage utilizing SolarWinds Orion NPM 10.7.0. * Managing and monitoring The VPN Connections utilization and performance for the corporate mobile users and the Help-Desk individuals with the corporate location. * Managing and monitoring The VPN IPSec site to site connections between the Headquarter and the branch sites with Hub And Spoke topology in place. * Securing and monitoring the DMZ network activities by applying and enforcing the security policies utilizing Cisco IPS appliance in inline mode for customer-facing portals. * Monitoring and managing the Backup schedules. * Reporting to the IT manager on daily, weekly and monthly bases.
