- Job Details:1-Offering our overseas clients with a variety of choices to choose the best fresh products that suits their needs, in terms of product specifications, overall costs, shipping turn-around time, and in accordance with their countries’ regulations. 2-Negotiating the contracts terms and prices with our “pre-selected” suppliers from the different countries, and negotiating the full contract & payment terms with the importer (our end-consumer). 3-Managing all the transaction steps from door-to-door. This is in order to closely control the packing, transportation, warehousing & distribution of the shipment, and until the shipment reaches safely (and on time) to its final destination. 4-Ensuring that the shipment complies with the importer’s country rules, especially that we mainly work in the FMCG & perishable goods (fruits & vegetables), which require special treatment in terms of quality requirements, uncut “cold-chain” shipping conditions, & documentations. 5-Ensuring shipments move smoothly through the complicated global supply chains while juggling everyday supervisory & follow up duties, and updating the clients whenever appropriate. 6-Handling arrangements for freight shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner, and making sure to track freight movement and to communicate any delays to the customer in order to maintain his trust, confidence, and his satisfaction as well. 7-Continuously looking for opportunities to find lower-cost carriers and faster shipping routes. Moreover, In the event of shipment disruptions, working on developing “contingency plans” with enough flexibility to resolve issues with parties, taking into consideration their different time zones. 8-Maintaining healthy working relationships with all our internal & external stakeholders like clients, vendors and government agency representatives, and keeping in contact with customers in order to build strong rapport, develop goodwill and address issues. Also renewing contracts or switching to companies that may provide better service or charge a lower price.
